Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Welcome to Card Royale. These Terms & Conditions apply when you use our website or purchase products from us.

By placing an order with Card Royale, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Card Royale

Card Royale is an online retailer specialising in Pokémon Trading Card Game products.

Email: Hello@cardroyale.co.uk

2. Products

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability information on our website are accurate.

Product packaging, promotional packaging and appearance may occasionally differ slightly from photographs shown on the website.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, products sold by Card Royale are new and genuine.

Pokémon booster packs and other products containing randomly selected cards are sold as randomised products. We cannot guarantee which cards, rarities, artwork, pull rates or other randomly distributed contents will be contained within a particular pack, box or product.

The absence of a particular card, rarity or value from a genuine Pokémon product does not mean that the product is faulty or not as described.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

The total price of your order, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are correct. If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we may contact you to correct the error or cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

4. Orders

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • There has been an obvious pricing or listing error;

  • We cannot obtain authorisation for payment;

  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity;

  • Purchase quantities appear intended to circumvent any stated product limits; or

  • We are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled items.

5. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Card Royale does not intend to store customers’ full debit or credit card details.

6. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges will be displayed during checkout.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we specifically agree otherwise.

Please ensure that your delivery information is complete and accurate when placing your order.

If an order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at Hello@cardroyale.co.uk.

7. Returns and Right to Cancel

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to any exceptions provided by law.

To exercise this right, you must notify us at Hello@cardroyale.co.uk within the applicable cancellation period.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you should return the goods within 14 days.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

Where applicable, returned goods should be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit.

8. Sealed Pokémon TCG Products

Due to the collectible and randomised nature of Pokémon Trading Card Game products, factory seals, packaging and product condition can significantly affect their value.

Customers wishing to return an unwanted sealed Pokémon TCG product should keep the product unopened, unused and with its original factory seals and packaging intact.

Opening booster packs, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, collection boxes, tins or other factory-sealed Pokémon products goes beyond what would ordinarily be necessary to inspect the nature and characteristics of the sealed product and can substantially reduce its value.

Where a returned product has been opened, unsealed, tampered with, resealed, altered, substituted or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, Card Royale reserves the right to make an appropriate deduction from any refund to reflect the reduction in value, up to the amount permitted by law.

Products suspected of having been tampered with, substituted, resealed or fraudulently returned may be investigated. Refunds may be withheld or reduced where permitted by law.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

All goods supplied by Card Royale must comply with your statutory consumer rights.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact Hello@cardroyale.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the condition of the product and its packaging.

Where required by law, Card Royale will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund or other remedy.

The random contents of a genuine Pokémon TCG product are not considered a fault. Card Royale cannot guarantee particular cards, rarities, pull rates or monetary values from booster packs or other randomised products.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

10. Refunds

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will process your refund in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Where required by law, refunds will include the price paid for the returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

Additional delivery charges resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method will not necessarily be refundable.

We may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.

Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature and characteristics, we may make a deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in their value, where permitted by law.

Refunds will normally be issued using the original payment method.

11. Pre-Orders

Products clearly marked as pre-order are products that are not yet available for immediate dispatch.

Any expected release or dispatch date is an estimate and may change due to circumstances outside our control, including changes or delays from manufacturers, distributors or suppliers.

We will aim to keep customers informed of significant changes affecting their pre-orders.

If we are unable to fulfil a pre-order, we will issue a refund for the affected product.

Nothing in this section affects any cancellation or refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve that product.

Stock levels may occasionally be incorrect because of technical errors, simultaneous purchases or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and, where we cannot supply the product, refund the amount paid for that item.

13. Purchase Limits

Certain products, particularly new releases or products with limited availability, may be subject to purchase limits.

Where a purchase limit is displayed, customers must not deliberately attempt to circumvent that limit by placing multiple orders or using different customer details.

We reserve the right to cancel orders that we reasonably believe have been placed to circumvent clearly stated purchase restrictions.

Any payment taken for cancelled products will be refunded.

14. Website Availability

We try to keep the Card Royale website accurate, secure and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

15. Intellectual Property

The Card Royale name, branding, website design and original content belonging to Card Royale may not be copied or commercially reproduced without permission.

Pokémon and related names, characters, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Card Royale is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak or Creatures Inc., unless expressly stated otherwise.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

17. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy available on our website for further information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.

The Terms & Conditions applying to an order will normally be those in effect when the order was placed.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom and, where applicable to Card Royale, the laws of Northern Ireland.

Nothing in this section affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
